Friday Finish

Happy Friday Finish!

Hi all!

Happy Friday Finish! This week I don’t have just one finish to share; I have TWO. Whoo Hoo!

This one is called Stress Killer by Ellen Maurer-Stroh. I downloaded this freebie from her website years ago. Sadly, is no longer available.

It took me almost 4 years to complete maily because it was not calling my interest and I have other projects that I wanted to work on. Thanks to God, I was able to finish it because I am determine to finish all of my old WIPs (works in progress). I still have an old project which I started in 2016 but I am working on finish this one as well.

This is a very small project called Everything is Possible by Dimensions.

Changes: changed the fabric from the kit and translated the wordings to Spanish

My First Flosstube Video! Nuevo Video de Flosstube!

I made my first flosstube video! But this one is in Spanish. I will be recording an English version on Saturday. For now, I am presenting my YouTube Channel and sharing the projects I have finished so far this year. I hope you like it! If you do like it, please consider subscribing.
Happy stitching!

Cross Stitch Camp: August

I fully finished my August project! It is not perfect and it has lots of mistakes. Now I can say that I’ve worked with 40 count silk gauze and silk threads (oh and 1 over 1 on this is no joke. I applaud those of you who do it). This one in particular is all from Kreinik. This was originally finished as a brooch but couldn’t find the brooch. I tried finding one of those tiny ceramic trinket or jar but couldn’t find it either. So I finished it on this necklace. All I can say is that 40 count is not for me. Maybe I’ll try it again but certainly not 1 over 1. @coloradocrossstitcher #crossstitchcamp

Cross Stitch Camp: July

Finished My Needle and Thread by Waxing Moon Designs. I gave her a smile, a pony tail and pink shoe laces 😆. I stitched it on 28ct mushroom evenweave.

Next month I will continue #crossstitchcamp using 3 things I’ve never used before: silk gauze, 40 count and silk thread. This is Silk Rose Brooch on 40ct silk gauze using silk threads by Kreinik designed by Cherie Marie Leck @coloradocrossstitcher

Project: Picnic Ants Coasters

Designer: Sharon Pope for Just Cross Stitch Magazine (August 2015)

Fabric: 14 ct white Aida

Floss: DMC (351, 321, 310, blanc)

Started: 06/10/2017

I know, I should’ve finished this way before but I got lazy stitching a lot of the same thing. I love this project but I’m definitely glad I’m done with it. I got acrylic coasters and stuck them in there. It’s not perfect but they look cute to me.
