So I have a finish! More like an FFO. June Sampler by Country Cottage Needleworks. Stitched on 16 ct beautiful beige Aida by Witchelt and using Classic Colorworks threads. Well, this is my 3rd finish this month. But this one is for July’s #crossstitchcamp and I’m loving it there! Thank you @coloradocrossstitcher for organizing this 🤗 By the way, the only change I made was that I added beads for the ants, the watermelons and the strawberries. I don’t get along with french knots very much.

Pumpkin Passport by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery

  • Fabric: 28 count Jobelan in Caribbean Blue by Fabrics by Stephanie
  • Threads: All DMC threads (as called for) except the lettering which I used DMC color variations 4240
  • Days stitched: about 50 days

I originally had used Irish Linen fabric by DMC but hated it. So I restarted it on 01/04/2020 and just finished it today.

Two Finishes

 Two finishes this month: Oscar & Zoe were two beautiful parakeet birds I gifted by daughter when she was 5. Sadly, they passed away and I wanted to stitch them for her. I used the free cross stitch chart by DMC called Budgie and used my PC Stitch program to re-chart it.

This was stitched on 16ct Aida (Crystal Whirlpool color) I purchased on 123stitch.com and used DMC colors: 838, 3823, 906, 904, 907, 169, 3810, 307, 597, 3811.

I also finished this chart by Janlynn called Graduation Dreams. It was a kit so I used all of the materials that came with it including the 14ct Aida.
